We've optimised our platform to allow effortless linking back to TitlePage records, while new search functions allow you to search TitlePage via a custom search engine.
Our new search functions allow you to search TitlePage directly from your browser's address bar. Here’s how it works:
You can set up a custom search engine in your browser (Chrome or Edge) that utilises TitlePage’s enhanced URL structure and query capabilities.
Once set up, this feature can be activated by typing ‘TP’ in your browser bar.
After the 'TP' prefix, enter any ISBN-13, author name, book title, or a combination of author and title (partial or full title) to initiate your search on TitlePage.
This means you can type TP followed by a space or tab in your browser's address bar, then enter any ISBN-13, author name, title, or a combination of author or title (partial or complete title) to search for books on TitlePage. For example, you can type (or scan) TP 9781761043956 to find The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, or TP Trent Dalton to find all books by this author.
If you’re not already logged in to TitlePage, you’ll be prompted to login before being redirected to the result. Where there is only one result for your query (eg for an ISBN-13 search) you will go directly to the product record (in the New display). Where multiple results are returned, you will go to the search results page.
To set up this custom search engine, you need to follow these steps for each browser:
Chrome:
Open Chrome's settings page by clicking the menu icon in the top-right corner and selecting Settings.
Click Search engine in the left pane, then click Manage search engines on the right.
Under Other search engines, click Add.
In the Search engine field, enter TitlePage.
In the Keyword field, enter TP (or any other keyword you prefer).
- In the URL with %s in place of query field, enter https://titlepage.com/item/?s=%s
Click Add.
Edge:
Open Edge's settings page by clicking the menu icon in the top-right corner and selecting Settings.
Click Privacy, search and services in the left pane, then scroll down to Services and click Address bar and search.

Click Add a new one at the bottom of the list.
