Product collections let you quickly gather, organise, and share titles in one place. Whether you're reviewing products, tracking customer requests, or sharing a curated list, collections make it easy to work with TitlePage data beyond a single search.
Who this is for
This feature is available to all TitlePage users. Each user has one personal collection, tied to their own account. Support for multiple collections may be added in future.
Finding your collection
Select My Library in the top navigation, then My Collection.
Adding titles to your collection
You can add titles from two places:
- The search results page, as you browse. See TitlePage search results.
- An individual product page, using Add to collection. See Product Page Actions.
Titles are added immediately, so you can build a list as you go without saving anything.
Working with your collection
Your collection opens as a table, with the number of items shown at the top. From here you can:
- Find a title using the search box, or change the sort order and the number of rows shown per page.
- Choose your columns using the Columns menu, so the view shows the details you care about, such as pricing, availability, contributors, or supplier. Reset columns returns the table to its default layout.
- Annotate a title with notes, comments, suggested quantities, or follow-up actions. The Annotation column shows your note against each row, or "No annotation" where none has been added.
- Remove titles you no longer need, or use Clear all to empty the collection completely.
Annotations are saved with the title and are included when you share or download the collection. For what the columns mean, see Navigating the product page.
Actions on a single title
Four controls sit at the left of each row:
- The bookmark icon removes the title from your collection.
- The open icon opens the title's product page in a new tab.
- The comment icon adds or edits your annotation for that title.
- The three-dot menu offers Download as ONIX and Download as CSV for that title on its own.
Working with several titles at once
Tick the checkbox on each row you want, or the checkbox in the header row to select them all. A toolbar appears at the bottom showing how many titles are selected, with these options:
- View in New Tab opens the selected titles' product pages.
- Remove takes the selected titles out of your collection.
- Download as ONIX or Download as CSV downloads just the selected titles, rather than the whole collection.
Clear selection unticks everything without changing your collection. This is different from Clear all, which empties the collection.
Downloading your collection
Three download options sit above the table:
- Download CSV for importing into another system or opening in a spreadsheet.
- Download PDF for a formatted list to read, print, or send on.
- Download ONIX 3.1 for loading the records into a system that accepts ONIX.
Sharing your collection by email
Select Email collection to send your list to someone else. In the dialog you can:
- Choose CSV or PDF as the format.
- Enter up to 10 recipient addresses, separated by commas.
- Tick Send to self to receive a copy at your own address.
- Add an optional message.
Recipients receive a copy of the collection as it was when you sent it. Later changes are not reflected in an email already sent, so send again if the list changes.
Common issues with collections
- I can't see my collection: make sure you're logged in using the same account as when you created it. Collections are tied to individual user accounts.
- My annotations aren't showing: check that notes were saved before sharing or downloading.
