TitlePage provides several automated emails and reports to help publishers and distributors diagnose, improve, and monitor their TitlePage data.
Who this is for
This article is for publishers or distributors with TitlePage data who receive or want to receive system emails in order to help them:
- Receive product feedback from TitlePage users.
- Review load reports for the health of their ONIX files.
- Receive Data Quality Reports to monitor metadata completeness and supply chain data.
System emails sent by TitlePage
There are three main types of system emails sent by TitlePage, which can be directed to different staff within your organisation:
- Product feedback: TitlePage users are able to provide direct feedback to listing publishers, which may include data corrections or other feedback.
- Load reports: every ONIX file received by TitlePage will trigger a load report which may include errors or warnings that need to be actioned.
- Data quality reports: a weekly snapshot of the overall quality of your data, focusing on key metadata fields and supply chain data to provide actionable insights to optimise metadata and product availability information.
Load reports
Load reports confirm whether titles in a submitted ONIX file have been successfully processed. Once a file has finished processing, a load report is automatically emailed to all users who have opted in to receive load report emails. The report provides a high-level summary of the number of records processed, created, updated, or deleted, and identifies any records with warnings or errors that require attention.
A copy of the report is also placed in the same SFTP folder the file was uploaded to.
There are two subject line types to be aware of:
- TitlePage: Products Failed. Indicates there is at least one record within the file with errors, where the record was too incomplete or corrupt for the TitlePage loader to process. New records with errors will not be created and existing records will not be updated. Urgent action by the publisher is required.
- TitlePage: Load Warnings. Indicates there are records within the file with warnings. These records were still loaded but parts of the record containing the issue will not be updated on TitlePage. Action by the publisher is required.

Product feedback emails
TitlePage users, including booksellers and libraries, can submit feedback directly to listing publishers. This feedback may include:
- Metadata corrections such as incorrect titles or contributor names.
- Incorrect stock or availability information.
- Missing cover images.
Feedback emails are sent to the nominated publisher contact responsible for maintaining the data, with a copy also sent to the TitlePage team for monitoring.
Data Quality Reports
Data Quality Reports help publishers improve their metadata by providing weekly updates on metadata completeness and supply chain data quality. These reports are sent to nominated recipients who have opted in to receive Data Quality emails.

Nominate report recipients
To receive TitlePage email reports, you must be eligible to receive them on behalf of your organisation and be opted in. Users can choose to receive all eligible report emails or select specific organisations for which they wish to receive notifications. This can be managed from the TitlePage tab on your individual profile page.
